Why do they call it a 'taxi'?

In English, these are 'race cars modified' versions of the cars that they sell. Equipped with things you can ACTUALLY GET ON THE CAR. Of course with a fee....lol They aren't just 'giving away these features'....

It is a concept car but it looks like it might make it to production.

Supercharged 3.0-liter V6 that puts out 468 horsepower /0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds/ top speed of 186 mph.

Clearly, the kids in Vancouver do 125 mph, in exotic cars in packs..pictures....Police take exception..

I guess what I find SUPER INTERESTING ABOUT THIS IS THE AGE OF THE DRIVERS. Once you see the cars, you will understand why. I mean all kinds of exotics are repped on this list (Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Mercedes, Audi and Nissan R Series). These aren't some kids racing in souped up early model Mustang GTs or Honda Civics (even though when they do that it DOES get expensive..). Check the pics and the head on over to the newspaper link..
