(Video) Jay speaking on Jay Electronica's upcoming album..

He does have a point... We complain that we get the 'same old formula'.. @ single...single... album.. We don't like it but we don't like change. Interesting point by Jay-Z.

Lets be frank though. Some of us want the album. (Some of us have given up on it ever happening as well..). It does exist though. Hope it comes.

(Audio) 3 tracks.. #tunetuesday My boy @ShizzNitty w/@MeekMill w/production by @jahlilbeats & @therealsap #throwbacktuesday

All of these joints got it poppin' in the area (DE/NJ/PA) where Shizz is from. The assist from Meek was genuine too. Him and Shizz have a good chemistry. You can hear it on the records. A little history lesson for the rest of the World on three of the hottest names in hip hop right now who all will attest to the talent that is Shizz Nitty.... * You can also see that THEY HAVE BEEN HOT long before the 'rest of the World' got to know that they had talent.

Shoutout to DJ Difference and DJ Bran too..

It's Like That- ft. Meek Mill (Prod. by Sap)

Still probably my favorite Jahlil Beat to this day.. Shake 'Em Off

and of course the Sap produced.. Sox In Da Air (remix) ft. Meek Mill again... Oh... if you pay close attention SAP IS RAPPING ON THIS JOINT TOO. @ those of you who were 'surprised' his mixtape was so good..

*We haven't forgotten about you Shizz! I know I haven't. Just holding your place for you 'till you get back. Don't worry. We are waiting on you..This is just my way of letting you know I'm still thinking about you fam. One.

(Video) Heard folks say they have never 'heard' @JcoleNC but that they don't like his music...106 & Park...30 minutes live..

You can hear him now. Probably won't change your mind about him but at least you can stop sounding like an idiot when talking about his music since you have never 'heard it'. Or just admit that you don't like SOMETHING ELSE about him (whatever that is...whether your lil gf is hot in the pants for the nigga or whatever) and just keep it moving.

(Audio/Video) I'm almost convinced that @JColeNC won't catch 'a break'. Mr. Nice Watch..

I usually hesitate to give my ALL OUT OPINIONS on here when I am simply posting up a track but I felt that is was necessary here. I get ALL TYPES OF QUESTIONS ABOUT MY THOUGHTS ON J.Cole. Most times I don't say much. I am STILL NOT HERE TO CHANGE FOLKS MINDS ABOUT HIM EITHER. Either you like him or you don't. I can't change that.

At this point everyone has put the song up so that is not what this post is all about....I'm sure YOU HAVE HEARD IT. Positive even. I have listened to it about 10 times or so in the last two hours.  I don't know what folks want from the kid. Now I am not saying this song just the BEST SONG IN THE WORLD or anything. It is not. It isn't 'trash' though either though.

Now I think I have already spoken about the fact that I don't like when he does the rapping, the hook and the beats due to his monotone nature. That 'nature' isn't conducive to the 'Pop Star/Rap Star' numbers folks are expecting from him due to his association to with Jay-Z. That said, he did a good job here. Beat started off 'interesting' but quickly found its way, his flow was NICE and the hook, while done in that signature style, worked pretty well. I DO wish he would have found someone else to do it but maybe he didn't trust anyone else to deliver it the way he wanted. He got his point across though. Jay gave him a nice verse. If you thought Jay was going to go ALL OUT on his protege's album, you are a fool. Why WOULD HE? That would be suicidal for his artist. (Yeah..yeah...yeah...Jay has fallen off...yada...yada...-_-) He came in and gave him a good run. I'm not mad at it.

It is funny to hear folks say 'The days of a bunch of hit records on the actual album' are over yet they expect.........just that. I don't know if I ever 'expected' this kid to just have a 'slew of number one hits'. I was just happy that a 'regular kid' with skills actually got a chance to showcase them. I think people either have missed the point of why they were initially happy when this kid got noticed or folks have articulated why it is they 'want him to win'. In the World of rap, where you either have to be the SUPER NERD or the SUPER TOUGH NIGGA, he falls in the middle. I will take blame for that lack of articulation as well as I haven't done a very good job 'explaining' why it is I do root for him. Some think with me it is because he is from NC. No. There are PLENTY OF MCS in NC who I don't 'root for'. J.Cole isn't even the BEST MC in NC. Hell, if I start to REALLY give it some thought, he might be top Five. Real spit. At the same time though, he is one of the BEST YOUNG MCS in that region and after Peter Pablo, no one has ever really had a true machine behind them to make a REAL IMPACT on the radio. Not on hip hop...(See what I did there?) The radio. He has that chance. I just don't know if he is THE ONE TO DO IT. That just isn't his 'style'. It just isn't. Hope I am wrong. I thought his label squandered it chance when that Miquel joint SKYROCKETED OFF. That was a hit. That is another thing that is working against him. Folks who aren't 'music nerds' first REAL TASTE OF HIM was that 'All I Want Is You" joint and it seems like he isn't making 'another song like that ON PURPOSE. Which is a mistake. He BETTER have another joint like that on his album (I haven't heard it...) or folks will 'be disappointed'.

So here we are. With this leaked song that I feel like was leaked as a 'Shut the f@ck up' to the folks who were saying 'That song doesn't exist...'. Is it enough? Only time will time. Again, because the stakes are so HIGH, folks are already nitpicking it apart to me. As we speak......

Video: Interview The Hip Hop Chronicle UK...@young_guru....Speaking on his time at Howard (HBCU) and more.....

Degrees of separation... @ the 1:00 minute mark..I know some who are reading this blog right now know what I am talking about....@ the Delaware connection.

Good interview. If you aren't familiar with Mr. Keaton's story, you should make yourself familiar with it. Especially if you are trying to get into the same field he is. Very interesting how he, Jayson, Greg, Chuck, and a few others from DE that made it BIG in an industry where there is no foothold other than the fan. There are more coming from that region too. There are more than just 'fans' there. Now I am not one of those big proponents of 'It is where you are from...' anyway so don't get that all twisted up. If a cat is from Guam and he is about his business then that is what it is. I just like how the people I mentioned got to where they did without 'wondering why' no one was helping. They decided to do something about it. Period. Gotta love that.

@JColeNC....video..Work Out...(@BerniceBurgos is his leading lady in this joint..)

Looks like some other scenes were added to that leak. Appears to be Brooklyn...Nice touch. I know some of his 'hardcore' fans may balk at this song's 'approach' but I don't mind it. He can't 'stay broke' for us, ya know?

I also hear/see folks talking about his 'buzz'...That's interesting in that folks can't seem to make up their mind as to whether 'buzz' really means anything and are also quick to call it 'manufactured'. Make up ya'lls mind man...

I think his fans will respond when he drops and the product will speak for itself...
